Our love story
We matched on Hinge in summer 2019, and Peter showed up to our first date even though Christina was on crutches waiting for knee surgery. A few weeks later, Christina invited Peter on a 4-day houseboat trip with her friends - because nothing says romance like close quarters and an audience, right?
Somehow we survived the boat trip, then spent lockdown together in Christina's tiny condo with our cats Milly and Oreo (who immediately adopted Peter as their step-dad). Since then we've traveled the world, bought a house, and made annual canoe camping trips to Algonquin Park our thing.
In summer 2025, Peter proposed at Misty Lake during one of those camping trips. Now? We're getting married! 🎉

Getting around
The Broadview Hotel is located in our home neighbourhood in Toronto's east end!
public transit: the hotel is easily accessible via TTC streetcar, with two stops right outside the door! The closest subway station is Broadview Station on Line 2 (Green Line).
parking: street parking is available, but limited. We recommend using the Green P parking lot across the street on Broadview Ave.
Our wedding weekend happens to overlap with the Toronto Waterfront Marathon and there will be road closures – check their website for details! Expect traffic to be worse than usual getting in and out of the city.

Where do I RSVP?
Our RSVPs are all online (scroll up and click the big RSVP button), but if you have trouble with the form, please reach out to Christina or Peter!
What date should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by September 1, 2026! This ensures we have time to finalize numbers with our vendors.
Is there a dress code?
Wear whatever makes you feel great! We want you to be comfortable and confident, whether that's in cocktail or formal attire, or something special to you! Please reserve white for the bride.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
We will mostly be indoors! However, cocktail hour will be on the rooftop terrace – sections of which are heated and covered.
Is there parking available?
There's a Green P lot directly across the street from The Broadview, and the venue is also TTC accessible!

Can I bring my kids?
We're keeping it adults-only, except for our nieces and nephews who are explicitly invited.
Can I bring a plus one?
We're limited by venue capacity, so plus ones are only included if explicitly listed on your invitation.
What about gifts?
Your presence is the best present! We are so grateful that you have chosen to come celebrate with us. We'll have a card box if you'd like to share a note, but no gifts please.
